Lake House on Park Lake (Shared Housing)

A 3* bed/2 bath two story house right on Park Lake just 15-20 minutes north of the MSU campus. The house common areas are furnished and the kitchen already has dishes/pots/utensils. Current lease ends July 31st, so next lease is for August 1 2025 to... July 31 2026. First floor includes kitchen, living room, one bedroom (occupied), one bathroom, laundry room, and access to the backyard. The second floor includes the second bathroom, the largest bedroom in the house (occupied), and two tiny bedrooms.

*For the two tiny bedrooms, either one tenant has used both as a separate bedroom/office setup or one tenant has used one room and the other has been used as a shared storage room for all tenants. We are open to whichever setup works best for possible roommates!

I own a shy sweet cat named Lucky and would be open to other cat owners moving in, but not dog owners since he is very afraid of dogs. Open to new roommates of any gender!

Perhaps the best feature is the large backyard that has access directly to the lake, a couple of small garden plots, a picnic table, and a fire pit. There are also kayaks that the land-family allows tenants to use. This house is a calm and beautiful place to live and I think provides a great escape from hectic graduate school life!

The following numbers are based on the 2024-2025 lease since the next lease isn't finished yet, but I anticipate these numbers will not change much. Rent is currently $490 a month and includes water and internet. Electric/gas are a separate bill monthly split among all three roommates.
