Stoddard Apartments, behind Starbucks on GR, walking distance to campus.
My name is Angie Kim and I am a senior graduating in December and am looking for someone to take over my lease from December 1, 2025 - August 3, 2026 at Stoddard Apartments (right behind Tasty Twist and Starbucks on Grand River).
This unit is a 4... bed/2.5 bath and consists of three floors (upper, ground, basement). My room is upstairs, along with two others bedrooms (4th bed is in basement). I have three other roommates who are also seniors: Amulya, Neha, and Eliza, who will be staying in the apartment throughout the semester. They are very friendly and will welcome you into the apartment!
Rent is paid on a tri-payment basis, so you will pay $2900 per installment ($725 PER MONTH) on December 1st and April 1st. The $725 does not include utilities, but don't expect them to be more than $50 per month. I will cut your rent down to $625 PER MONTH, which means that you will be paying $2500 per installment, instead of $2900.
Move in on December 1st is not required, but I set it to that date because that is when the second installment of rent is due. You will be responsible for paying the December 1st installment as the first payment of your sublease. I will pay you the difference of the discount that I mentioned previously. If you choose to move in on a later date, we can do the calculations and figure out how much you will reimburse me.
This apartment complex only offers 3 parking spaces per unit, and all three of my roommates will have a car. If you have a car, I will help you look for parking.
