Hi! I work full-time at MSU and I’m in search of a quiet visiting scholar, international student, doctoral student, post-doc, law or med student, or new faculty member to rent space in my house for any part of the fall 2026 semester (with possible... extension into the spring).

Here’s a description:
- Fully furnished 12 x 10 bedroom with walk-in closet on the garden level of my home with an egress window (includes a full-sized bed, a dresser, a desk, and a bookshelf)
- Private bathroom (sink, toilet and walk-in shower, located next to the bedroom)
- Use of rec room, including home gym equipment, ping-pong table, wet bar (with refrigerator and microwave) and Television and couch
- Off-street parking spot in the driveway
- Use of kitchen and living room space (on main level)
- Use 2nd floor laundry facilities
- WiFi and utilities included
- Bathroom cleaning included (vacuum and other cleaning of room are up to the renter)
- Lawn care and snow removal are covered by the homeowner (but help is always appreciated!)

Also know: I have a cat and a very sweet golden retriever (dog). No additional pets are allowed.

I would love to make a 3-6 month agreement but will consider shorter terms for the right tenant/situation. Full background and security checks, along with credit checks conducted on all tenants. Visiting scholars and international students will need to submit proof of their role at MSU. Read More
