Room Available in Graduate Student House

We have a room (one for the basement bedrooms) available in our house for the coming school year. The bathroom for this bedroom is shared with the person in the other basement bedroom.

The house is... furnished, clean, quiet, mellow, friendly, respectful, non smoking, pet free, convivial and creative, while also respecting each other's privacy, sensitivities, and need for space.

The house is Smoke-Free, and Pet-Free and we Recycle and share responsibilities and clean up after ourselves in the kitchen after meals and in the common areas of the house.

Utils (trash, recycling, electric, gas, water, sewer, and Internet) are not included in the rent. and average out to be approx. $120/month/person - more in the Winter and less in the Summer.

12 month lease is for the 2026-27 school year with a $300 security deposit.

There's lots of natural light, wood floors, and the house has a nice layout for communal living with 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms in the basement, and common spaces on the first floor and in the basement too.

There's a full bathroom/shower upstairs, and one of the upstairs bedrooms also has an attached half bath. There's also a half bath on the main floor of the house, and a full bathroom with a shower downstairs in the basement.

Bedrooms (desk, dresser, lamp, shelves, bed and bedding) and common areas of the house are fully furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked, there's also a Washer and Dryer, Large Flat Screen TV, a house printer (does not include paper or ink), driveway and street parking, a backyard, and a deck.

The house is located on the EastSide in between the Frandor shopping center and Sparrow Hospital, and EastTown Mall, in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes to Sparrow, MSU, LCC, Cooley, Meijer, Frandor, Eastwood Mall, CATA Bus Stop, an Independent Bookstore, Bars/Grills, Live Music Venues, Parks, Wetland Walking Trail and more. . .
