I have lived here a year and seen: good rent concessions, great location with meijer visible from the street, active parking management without shady or harshly punitive practice. Generally great all around.

We've really enjoyed living at Ashton Lake Apartments. My husband and I originally planned to purchase a home about two years ago, but this community changed our minds. The management here is truly awesome—helpful, responsive, and always willing to assist with anything that comes up. Maintenance is efficient and makes sure everything is handled quickly and safely, which gives us real peace of mind. The location is also a major plus. We’re close to Meijer, Kroger, and Walmart, plus several great eateries and Eastwood Towne Center. What stands out the most, though, is the people. The residents are kind, respectful, and there’s very little drama. It’s peaceful, quiet, and genuinely feels like a place you can relax and call home.

My experience at Ashton Lake has been pretty good. Proximity to groceries and bus stops were the most important to me, and the trail is a nice bonus. Some times I get to see ducks right outside my window. Also, the lake has turtles in the summer! I would say the lake and the parking spaces are well maintained. My maintenance requests have almost always been handled quickly.

When Steve and I (Cassandra) first moved to Ashton Lake, we only planned on staying for a year. We thought we'd eventually buy another home and move on. But what was supposed to be a temporary stop became a place we truly love calling home. What we love most about Ashton Lake is the PEOPLE. Over the years, we've met many wonderful neighbors. Some who have moved on and others who have moved in. We've appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the community. We've helped neighbors move furniture from time to time, shared many enjoyable conversations, and even gotten to know some of the pets that make this community so special. We've connected with people not only in our own building but throughout the property, and those everyday interactions have made living here feel warm and inviting. We'd also like to recognize Rebecca Bone, who helped us find our apartment when we first moved here. She made us feel welcomed from the very beginning, and even now it's always a pleasure to see her around the community. Whenever I see Rebecca helping residents or showing apartments to prospective tenants, it reminds me how much she cares about what she does. She's not just helping people rent an apartment. She's genuinely helping them find a place of comfort, security, and a home they can be proud of. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are thankful for all she does. We also deeply appreciate the management team. They are ALWAYS kind, professional, and willing to help whenever something is needed. Whether it's answering questions, addressing concerns, or making sure residents are taken care of, they consistently go above and beyond to make Ashton Lake a wonderful place to live. The maintenance team deserves recognition as well. Work orders are handled quickly, repairs are done properly, and they do an excellent job making sure everything is maintained, inspected, safe, and running smoothly. It's reassuring to know that when something needs attention, it will be taken care of promptly and professionally. Looking back, we're so glad we stayed longer than we originally planned. Ashton Lake has given us more than just a place to live. It has provided comfort, convenience, caring neighbors, and a team of people who genuinely work hard to make residents feel at home. Steve and I are truly grateful to be part of this community and proud to call Ashton Lake home. STEVE & CASSANDRA
